FuelForm Terms & Conditions

Eligibility

You may use FuelForm only if you can legally agree to these Terms and are at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country. If you use FuelForm on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so.

Wellness App, Not Medical Advice

FuelForm is a nutrition, calorie tracking, and wellness app. It is not a medical device, healthcare provider, emergency service, dietitian, nutritionist, or clinical decision system. FuelForm does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or manage any disease or medical condition.

• Do not use FuelForm as a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, psychological, or fitness advice.
• Consult a qualified professional before changing diet, exercise, medication, supplements, insulin dosing, treatment, or health routines, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, under medical care, managing diabetes, managing an eating disorder, have allergies, or have any chronic condition.
• FuelForm may not detect allergens, unsafe ingredients, contaminated foods, medication interactions, or condition-specific risks.
• If you have a medical emergency, call local emergency services immediately.

AI Estimates and User Responsibility

FuelForm uses AI and food databases to estimate nutrition from photos, typed text, voice transcripts, Siri- or Shortcut-provided meal text, barcodes, and other context you provide. AI outputs are probabilistic and may be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation.

• You are responsible for reviewing, correcting, approving, and using any food entries, calorie counts, macros, recommendations, coaching messages, or progress insights.
• FuelForm does not guarantee weight loss, muscle gain, maintenance, health outcomes, calorie accuracy, barcode accuracy, or nutrition accuracy.
• You should verify packaged food information against the product label and manufacturer information before relying on it.
• Do not submit illegal, unsafe, confidential, or highly sensitive content that is not necessary for using the app.

Siri, App Shortcuts, and System Actions

FuelForm provides four actions through Apple's App Intents, Siri, and Shortcuts technologies. Their behavior depends on your device, operating-system version, language, region, permissions, authentication state, app state, and Apple services.

Apple controls how Siri, Dictation, Shortcuts, speech recognition, and related system features process requests and how available they are. Your use of those features is also subject to Apple's terms and privacy notices. Siri or speech recognition can mishear you, and Siri may display, repeat, or speak meal text and nutrition information where other people can see or hear it. You control your Siri and Shortcuts settings, shortcuts, and automations and should review their inputs, outputs, recipients, and surroundings before using them. A custom shortcut may forward action inputs or outputs to other apps or services that you choose.

Starting any system action does not guarantee that a meal will be correctly analyzed or saved, that nutrition data is current, or that the requested result will be completed. Network, AI, permission, authentication, app, device, and Apple-service failures can interrupt an action.

• Log Meal opens FuelForm and immediately submits the meal text supplied through Siri or Shortcuts to FuelForm's normal AI meal-analysis flow, without a second in-app confirmation before submission. Siri's dialog may repeat the exact meal text. Starting the analysis does not itself create or guarantee a completed meal log.
• Today's Nutrition requires successful local-device authentication and returns FuelForm's cached calories consumed, calorie goal, calories remaining, and protein total. It can provide the summary in a spoken or displayed Siri dialog and as text that a custom shortcut can use or forward. Cached totals may be incomplete or out of date.
• Open Camera only opens FuelForm's camera logging screen. It does not take or upload a photo, begin analysis, or save a meal unless you take further action in the app.
• Start Voice Logging opens FuelForm and, after any required microphone and Apple Speech Recognition permissions are granted, starts listening through the microphone and SFSpeech recognition. Depending on your device and language, Apple may process the audio on its servers. FuelForm does not submit the transcript to its AI service automatically; you must tap Send in the app.

Accounts and Security

FuelForm supports anonymous sessions, email/password accounts, and Google sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device, account credentials, email or Google account, the Apple ID used for App Store purchases, and any activity under your account.

• Provide accurate account and profile information and keep it up to date where relevant.
• Notify us at fuelform@arqai.dev if you believe your account or data has been compromised.
• We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we reasonably believe there is abuse, fraud, security risk, illegal activity, or violation of these Terms.

Subscriptions, Trials, and Purchases

Premium features may require an auto-renewing subscription, free trial, one-time purchase, or other in-app purchase through Apple. Purchases are processed by Apple and may be managed with RevenueCat. Prices, plans, feature availability, and trials may change as permitted by law and platform rules.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period through your Apple ID subscription settings.
• Deleting the app, deleting app data, or deleting your FuelForm account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
• Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. We do not control Apple's refund decisions.
• If a free trial is offered, unused trial time may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where permitted by Apple policy.
• Premium access may depend on Apple, RevenueCat, network availability, account status, and successful receipt validation.

Referral and Promotional Rewards

FuelForm may offer a referral program under which an eligible successful referral provides one promotional month of FuelForm Pro to both the referring user and the referred friend. Participants must use eligible, confirmed FuelForm accounts, and FuelForm must be able to verify the redemption device.

The referred friend must be a genuinely newer FuelForm user than the referrer and must redeem the referral code within 14 days of joining FuelForm. Each referred account may redeem only one referral code, and each device may be used for only one referral redemption. A referrer may not refer themself or create, coordinate, buy, sell, or control accounts or devices to obtain rewards.

Eligible rewards are recorded and fulfilled by FuelForm's server and RevenueCat. Fulfillment may be delayed while account, device, entitlement, or anti-fraud checks are completed. Promotional access has no cash value, is not transferable or redeemable for money, and may not be sold or exchanged. We may reject, withhold, reverse, or correct rewards obtained through error, fraud, self-referral, duplicate redemption, manipulation, or violation of these Terms.

We may change, suspend, or end the referral program or its eligibility rules prospectively, subject to applicable law. Any treatment of a reward already validly earned will remain subject to applicable law and any necessary fraud or error correction.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use FuelForm lawfully, responsibly, and only for personal wellness and nutrition tracking unless we authorize another use.

• Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, attack, disrupt, bypass quotas, bypass payment gates, or interfere with FuelForm or its providers.
• Do not use FuelForm to upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, infringing, deceptive, or malicious content.
• Do not attempt to access another user's data, test security without permission, or use automated systems that burden the service.
• Do not abuse referral or promotional programs through self-referrals, fake or duplicate accounts, coordinated code exchanges, device or identity manipulation, automated redemptions, resale, or any attempt to evade eligibility, account, or device limits.
• Do not use FuelForm outputs to provide medical, clinical, regulated, or professional advice to others without appropriate independent review and qualifications.

Your Content and License

You retain ownership of information, photos, text, meal logs, and other content you submit to FuelForm. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, analyze, display, and otherwise use that content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve FuelForm and to comply with law.

• You represent that you have the rights needed to submit content to FuelForm.
• You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your content.
• We may remove or restrict content if we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, law, platform rules, or provider policies.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how FuelForm collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information. By using FuelForm, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy and any choices or consents you provide through the app, iOS permissions, Apple Health, Apple purchases, or account settings.

Third-Party Services

FuelForm relies on third-party services, platforms, SDKs, APIs, databases, and operating-system features. These may include Apple, Apple Health, Siri, Dictation, Shortcuts, App Intents, Apple Speech Recognition, App Store purchases, RevenueCat, Supabase, Google Gemini, Google OAuth if selected, Tavily, Open Food Facts, Braintrust if enabled, and other providers.

• Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, uptime limits, restrictions, and fees.
• FuelForm is not responsible for third-party services, food databases, identity providers, payment processors, AI providers, or device/platform features outside our control.
• Siri, Shortcuts, Dictation, speech recognition, and other Apple system features may process information under Apple's policies and may behave differently across devices, settings, languages, and regions.
• Features may be limited, unavailable, delayed, or changed because of provider changes, outages, rate limits, regional restrictions, operating-system changes, or platform rules.

App Store License and Apple

FuelForm is licensed, not sold. If you obtain FuelForm through the App Store, your license is subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), unless a valid custom end-user license agreement is presented for FuelForm. These Terms supplement the applicable App Store license and Apple usage rules and do not override terms that must control.

These Terms are between you and the developer and seller identified on FuelForm's App Store product page, not Apple. Apple is not FuelForm's operator, sponsor, endorser, or product-support provider and is not responsible for FuelForm or its content. The developer, rather than Apple, is responsible for FuelForm's maintenance and support, except for any obligations Apple separately accepts or that applicable law imposes on Apple. Apple remains responsible for the App Store and other Apple services under its own terms.

Intellectual Property

FuelForm, including its software, design, branding, features, text, graphics, and other materials, is owned by the developer of the app or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

• You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use FuelForm in accordance with these Terms and Apple platform rules.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from FuelForm except as allowed by law or with written permission.

Service Changes and Availability

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, providers, limits, plans, pricing, or availability at any time, subject to applicable law and App Store rules. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or always-available service.

• Some features require internet access, Apple Health permissions, camera, microphone, speech recognition, local-device authentication, subscriptions, compatible devices, cached app data, or provider availability.
• Siri, App Shortcuts, and system actions may be unavailable or behave differently based on Apple services, operating-system changes, language or region, permissions, device security settings, Shortcuts configuration, or automations you create.
• We may release experimental, beta, or preview features that can change or stop working.

Disclaimers

FuelForm is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and suitability for medical or health decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FuelForm and the developer of the app will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost health outcomes, personal decisions, subscription issues controlled by Apple, provider outages, or reliance on nutrition estimates or AI outputs.

• Where liability cannot be excluded, liability is limited to the amount you paid for FuelForm in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or the minimum amount permitted by law.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless FuelForm and the developer of the app from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of FuelForm, violation of these Terms, violation of law, violation of third-party rights, or content you submit.

Termination

You may stop using FuelForm at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the app or others, abused the service, violated provider policies, or used FuelForm unlawfully.

• Termination does not automatically cancel Apple subscriptions. You must cancel subscriptions through Apple.
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute-related provisions.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and disputes relating to FuelForm are governed by the laws that apply under relevant conflict-of-laws and consumer-protection rules. A dispute may be brought before a court or tribunal that has jurisdiction under applicable law.

• Before filing a claim, please contact fuelform@arqai.dev so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
• Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights, statutory warranties, or rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when FuelForm, legal requirements, platform rules, providers, pricing, or operations change. We will update the effective date and provide notice of material changes when required by applicable law. We will request your affirmative acceptance before applying updated Terms when applicable law requires it. Otherwise, updated Terms apply prospectively from their stated effective date, and continued use after that date constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law.
